DESTYNATION: Studio Update
September 12, 2007Swedish heavy metal band DESTYNATION (formerly ETERNIA) is back in the studio to record the follow-up to its acclaimed debut album, "Rising Up" (2006). According to a posting on the group's web site, "All pre-production is made and the actual recordings has begun. Six drum tracks are nailed to the tape as we speak and next week we will begin to record guitars and bass. 17 songs will be recorded and right now we don't know how many that will end up on the album." An early 2008 release via Sonic Age Records is expected.
DESTYNATION, who hail from Ornskoldsvik in the northern parts of Sweden, have been spreading their message and music since 1997. Their debut album, "Tales of Power" (issued under their previous moniker),was released in March 2002 and was followed by a three-song single, "Shadow Gate", in 2003.
